The goal of Race Capital is to help startups enter the market safely and successfully. When it comes to race cars, a good brake is very important for a race car because it can stabilize the car when it goes over the corners. Every year, racing teams spend a lot of money on developing solid braking technology because of how important it is to the functionality of the car. This logo is modelled after the shape of the spark that the car produces when it brakes to represent a well-maintained and solid investment.
The red and black colours use high contrast and come off as striking, similar to the colours used in car racing. Race Capital uses these colours to strengthen its brand as a means of driving the future. You’ll notice the business cards fit this branding well with a track that creates a beautifully-aligned S-curve when placing the cards next to one another.
Redesigning the Race Capital website was a fun and creative process. We took their latest content and redesigned their website to give it an edgy and unique look. After a few rounds of UI and UX revisions, we were able to come to a style that we were all satisfied with. With the red, black and white colour branding, and racing elements such as cars and lines to represent tracks, Race Capital has a website that is truly representative of their style.
